My first magazine publication!!! – Ottawa Wedding photography

Some of you probably know already, but I was waiting till I get my own copy of this magazine :)
I have no words just unreal excitement! It is my first publication in the Wedding Essentials Magazine (Ontario Edition).
I got full spread with a beautiful love story about Polina and Vadim and their wedding in Toronto on Mariposa Cruises, and also full page with some of my close up shots of wedding cakes that I photograph on other wedding in Ottawa and destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

I love to travel! Especially if I manage to visit new places with wonderful people. I already showed earlier slideshow from the wedding of this wonderful couple and as promised I begin to show more details of their wedding, that was in Punta Cana Dominican Republic.
Place in which we decided to shoot the Trash the Dress session called Macao beach. We really wanted to get the most beautiful lighting so we decided to come to the beach at dawn. I am very happy that everything went so well, the weather was super and the guys looked so hot :)

Part two is going to be about ocean and the beach

In addition to the hotel, with its numerous pools, restaurants and bars in Punta Cana course is an ocean:)
White sand, warm turquoise water and bright sunshine make an unforgettable impression.

First time going to the beach

I’ve been walking at dusk and dawn. A couple of times had to rise early, because as the dawn in this area was especially beautiful:)
Let’s start with the sunset…

Taking a walk on the evening beach found just such a picture. Someone had a romantic dinner:)

One day I went to another beach, called Macao beach. There are always waves, and therefore it is considered one of the best for surfers.
I didn’t see surfers but I captured courageous sunrise:)

And here is the sun! In the morning there were many clouds, I even waited for the rain, but it did not happen:)

Dominican Republic, Punta Cana

Part One
I’ve decided that it is a time to show some pictures of this heavenly place :))

Today I will show resort and my room, as well as will talk about my experiences.

The place called “Melia Caribe Tropical” and is on the east coast of the Dominican Republic at a place called Punta Cana. This is a huge hotel complex with a large number of restaurants and all sorts of entertainment.

This is my room, hi all :)

The room looked so much better than expected, especially after reading some reviews about the Dominican Republic.

I was on the ground floor, so instead of the balcony I had a backyard.

That is so chic gazebo! I was there daily siesta in the heat ;))

Also in the room had a mini bar that is replenished each day and a safe.
All the rooms of the complex is two or three-story villas and they are scattered over the vast territory of tropical gardens.

With the fiery Dominican music let’s go for a walk around :)

Almost all the rooms open concept i.e. without walls and fans on the ceiling. The entire site has 13 restaurants, if I remember correctly. There are 3 self-service coffee shop, and about 10 different restaurants. Also there are more than 10 bars, a disco, casino, shops and even a small theater that shows magicians, singers and dancers every night. You gotta love it after a hearty dinner and a few cocktails ;))

Just wonderful gazebo near the bar. Wallow, while waiter serve you Pinacolada, and around you just palm trees, palm trees, palm trees and swimming pools.

Since the complex is huge, it is difficult to circumvent. Especially in the heat … There are little trains go through it …

I’ve got free Internet!

A couple of times going tropical rains. They were short and heavy. One such find me at dawn, when I was about to walk to the beach

In the evening the hotel looked quite different :)

Of course there was the ocean and the beach! During the day it looked like this, so for me as a photographer didn’t have any value. By the way at once to answer a question that may arise: Where are all the people? They are all on the beach ;))

I will try to post more photos very soon from the beach and portraits of people I’ve met.

Dominican Republic, Punta Cana Destination Wedding photography

The first thing I decided to share is the slideshow to give a little of the atmosphere that surrounded us all the days that we spent in wonderful Dominican Republic! I will defiantly show more photos from wedding and our trip, but for now… sun, heat, smiles, love and happiness :)

After this trip I came to conclusion: I like to do destination weddings and I want more! ;))
