So excited about yesterday’s Wedding! I met such a great family. I am not saying families because they felt like one huge family :) I had a feeling that I know them forever and even dropped couple of tears during speeches. H and E you are the best! All the photos I took yesterday with you are exceptional because they are showing your true love.
The ceremony was held at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Ottawa. For a photo-shoot we went to the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Gatineau. And the reception was at Sala San Marco Banquet Centre on Preston street, Little Italy, Ottawa.
Here is a couple photos from yesterday. Didn’t have a chance yet to look though all of them :)

O + V Quebec City Wedding – Ottawa Wedding Photography

It was a special weekend, I photographed a small and very intimate wedding in Quebec City! I absolutely love this city and I think it is one of the most beautiful cities in Canada! :) It was especially pleasant to photograph such a beautiful event as couple, with whom we met on the day of the wedding, was very nice and truly love each other. They glowed like light bulbs and lit all around. I absolutely fell in love with the smile of the bride. Thank you sharing this special day with me :)
By the way, bride’s bouquet was handmade by bride herself and struck me with its beauty!

I woke up this morning and found in my inbox something that made my day! No it made my week or maybe a year! :)) I’ve got a message from a Wedding Photojournalist Association letting me know that me, Julia Unchura Ottawa Wedding Photographer now an official member of the association. And not only but they also added me to the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association.

So as of today I am proud member of WPJA and AG|WPJA :)

It is official – I am exhibiting at “The Ottawa Wedding Show” that will be held tomorrow and Sunday (January 28 and January 29, 2012 from 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM)!
All printed photos are on the wall and new wedding albums are ready to be presented, so make sure to stop by :)

Winter – it is a very special time, when all around is covered with white snow, and even the tiniest little animals hide in their burrows, away from the winter cold, where they spend this time in warmth and comfort. Winter – it’s also a special time for family photography, when you can just jump on my bed, stay near a Christmas tree or just sit beside a warm fireplace in the comfort of your own home.

I’m so excited about yesterday’s first wedding I photographed in 2012! :)
It was -18C outside where I photographed wedding so far – one of the coldest days! But it didn’t stop all the wedding party to step outside the restaurant for some winter shots at the Byward Market.
I loved every moment of it and I’m sure now that cold weather is not something that can stop a real love to make all day warm and happy.
The ceremony and the reception was at the Courtyard restaurant in Ottawa and we were brave enough to step outside at the market place to do some quick photography :))

My first magazine publication!!! – Ottawa Wedding photography

Some of you probably know already, but I was waiting till I get my own copy of this magazine :)
I have no words just unreal excitement! It is my first publication in the Wedding Essentials Magazine (Ontario Edition).
I got full spread with a beautiful love story about Polina and Vadim and their wedding in Toronto on Mariposa Cruises, and also full page with some of my close up shots of wedding cakes that I photograph on other wedding in Ottawa and destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

You can get your own copy at any book shop or read it online. (I’m on page 60 and 70) :)
